Ready for a deep relaxation treatment without the need for traditional massage?
Reiki is a Japanese therapeutic touch technique, or energy healing treatment, that has existed for thousands of years. It’s current form emerged in the early 1900s. The word reiki means universal (rei) life energy (ki). The practitioner transmits natural healing vibrations to the body of the recipient.
We can do a reiki session on its own or we can combine it with other therapies.

In fact, so many people are incorporating Reiki into traditional therapies that formal research is being conducted on the effects of Reiki in various control groups- see additional research here and here.
If you suffer from physical or emotional pain, reiki treatments can move the energy blockages around those sources of pain and help release them.
Energy blockages might sound strange, but it’s well known that holding onto stress, anxiety and sorrow can make us sick.
“Making yourself sick with worry” is a common phrase we use. That same energy that can make us sick, can be changed to energy that helps us feel well.
People who have reiki sessions commonly say their pain has been reduced or has vanished. They also say they relaxed so deeply, they almost fell asleep.
Reiki can help with many issues including:
Reiki on its own creates fantastic results and adding aromatherapy and/or yoga to the mix amplifies the effect.
