Yin yoga targets the fascia and connective tissue around joints (mainly spine, sacrum, pelvis and knees).
You’ll breathe and relax through a series of seated postures held for 3-5 minutes, targeting the connective tissue.
For those of you who are practicing active yoga like Vinyasa Flow yoga, a Yin practice is a perfect compliment to what you’re currently doing.
Yin can be meditative, helping you find stillness in the pose, reconnecting with your breath and allowing your soft tissue to release.

Restorative yoga is perfect for you.
This type of yoga is great for calming the nervous system and quieting your mind.
You’ll go from fight-or-flight mode to rest-and-digest mode which is so important when we’re doing any kind of recovery.
In restorative yoga we use props such as blankets, bolsters, yoga straps, and blocks to completely support the poses.
Most poses are lying down or seated.
Traditional, basic yoga. Build your strength, balance and flexibility.
Hatha Yoga is especially beneficial for those who want to strengthen their core.
You’ll move your body while quieting your mind.
The challenge of the poses will be based on what kind of workout you want.
This class incorporates props, basic yoga poses and breath awareness.
